Barbour Department,
Hongkong, 14th. August, 1908.
My Lord,
Te, the undersigned have the honour most respectfully to
request that Your Lordship will be pleased to cause enquiry to
be made to the Trinity House on the subject of 3uperannuation
Allowances from the Central Lighthouse and in respect of our
Trintiy Mouse service on our ultimate retirement from the Public
Service.
Te understand that Mesars. A. 9. Harvey, 2. F. Taylor, E. A. Johnson
and 7. P. Hast have been advised that they will be entitled to such
superannuation allowances in due course and we presume that our case
has been overlooked, as likewise we were both transferred from the
Trinity House to the Lighthouse service in Hongkong in 1892.
We therefore pray that enquiry may be made and that the
result may be conveyed to us.
We have the honour to be
Your Lordship'a
Moust obedient & humble 3ervants,
Charles E. Nicholas Frank, A. Coleman
Lighthouse Keepers,
The Right Honourable,
The Secretary of State for the Colonies.
